CAS-CIAC Recognition Events Canceled

Due to the continuing threat of COVID-19 CAS-CIAC has canceled and postponed several recognition events scheduled for this spring. The annual Scholar Athlete Banquet scheduled for Sunday, May 3 has been canceled, and the CAS-CIAC Hall of Honor Banquet scheduled for Thursday, April 24 has been postponed until 2021.

Schools that had not previously registered for the Scholar Athlete Banquet should still submit the names of the athletes they planned to honor in the existing registration form. CIAC will be providing certificates of recognition for each athlete, which hopefully can be presented at a suitable school event. In addition, CIAC would like to promote the outstanding accomplishments of these individuals with as much publicity as possible, so if you believe your athlete has a particularly interesting story or noteworthy accomplishments, please email jcooksoncasciacorg  (jcooksoncasciacorg)   with details.

The Hall of Honor banquet will be rescheduled for a date TBD for the spring of 2021, and the eight honorees scheduled for recognition this spring will be honored then. Additional information can be found at the Hall of Honor page here: 2079.
