CIAC Football Postseason Information

ciacnew_fb2015The CIAC football postseason is the only fall sport still chugging along with the championships coming up on December 12 at Willow Brook Park in New Britain and Ken Strong Stadium at West Haven High School.

There is always a lot of information sent out to the participating schools during the course of the postseason, and in some cases other member schools and staffs may be looking for information as well. This post, then will hopefully serve as a catch-all for information for schools participating to share with their fans and those interested in following the championships as they unfold.

Online tickets are available for purchase for all the remaining CIAC football postseason games. Buying tickets online before the event does not guarantee fast entry into the stadium, but more people purchasing tickets ahead of time means fewer people in line, and many venues have separate lines for entry than for ticket buying. This link: http://ciacsports.ticketleap.com/ will always have all of the currently available tickets for purchase.

Three (yet to be determined) semifinal games, and all four championship games will be available for broadcast on the NFHS Network. The games will be available with a subscription and any available broadcasts can be found at this link: http://www.nfhsnetwork.com/associations/ciac

CIACsports.com will be providing game recaps for all eight football semifinals on Monday, December 7th, as well as previews, live stats, and game stories for each of the four championship games.

Roster and game information sheets are available for every tournament game as well and can be found at CIAC’s Tournament Central page here: http://www.casciac.org/tournamentcentral.shtml and then clicking on the roster tab. Fans can also have access to the roster sheets at the game on their mobile device by going to the following link on their mobile device browser: http://www.casciac.org/ciacmobile/wrapper.html?../fbrostersheetsm.shtml
