CHESHIRE, Conn. – The weather forecast of likely thunderstorms has caused schedule changes for CIAC Outdoor Track & Field and Boys Tennis Tournaments. The boys tennis divisional championship matches scheduled to continue today have been postponed until Wednesday beginning at 3:30 p.m. at the same sites. As inclement weather impacts the CIAC spring championship schedule, CIAC can provide the following updates. The start times for the Class LL and Class MM meets scheduled for Tuesday June 2 at Willow Brook Park and Middletown High School respectively have been delayed. INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Effective with the 2015 high school track and field season, the prohibition of jewelry will be eliminated. INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Thirteen changes including the required installation of pole vault plant box padding were approved by the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) Track and Field Rules Committee at its June 10-12 meeting in Indianapolis.
