CHESHIRE, Conn. – The CIAC is providing information for the 2018 CIAC football championship games which will take place Saturday, December 8 at three venues.
The application for media credentials for the four games is now open can be found here: http://casci.ac/4101. The following is the schedule for the games are as follows:
Class LL: New Canaan vs. Greenwich, 10 a.m. (Boyle Stadium, Stamford)
Class L: Maloney vs. Daniel Hand, 2 p.m. (Veteran’s Stadium, New Britain)
Class M: Berlin vs. St. Joseph, 2 p.m. (Shelton High School)
Class S: Haddam-Killingworth vs. Bloomfield, 10 a.m. (Veteran’s Stadium, New Britain)

The CIAC Football Media Luncheon will be held Tuesday December 4 at the AquaTurf Club in Plantsville. The event is open to media members and representatives from the finalists will be in attendance and will be available to the media beginning formally at 11 a.m. with lunch and a program beginning at 12 p.m. Due to an unexpected team conflict, Class LL finalist Greenwich High School will not be able to have representatives at the event, and additional information about media availability for their team will be provided at the luncheon. Media should please RSVP to Joel Cookson at jcooksoncasciacorg if they plan to attend.
After completion of the online credential form, media members can pick up their credentials at the respective sites. The deadline to submit credential requests is 10 a.m., Thursday, December 6. Each championship game will be credentialed separately, and press box access and field access will be limited to those covering the specific games. Media entities planning to provide radio broadcasts of championship games must complete the online credential form, as well as the Broadcast Application Form which can be found at: http://casci.ac/1410.
